Independent consulting

Nobody chases your invoices except you.

Pidgy is an AI email assistant for independent consultants. It sorts your inbox before you open it, counts the days on every proposal a prospect is sitting on and every invoice a client has not paid, drafts the follow-up in your words, and turns what you agreed in a call thread into work you can see.

The work is done. The follow-up is the job nobody pays for.

The proposal went out two weeks ago. The invoice went out seven weeks ago. The introduction from a former client is three days old and you have not replied because you were doing the work you are paid for.

It is that nobody counts the days for you. A prospect who is sitting on a proposal is either deciding or has decided, and the difference is one email you have not sent.

Pidgy does not do the consulting.

Four things it does before you have opened anything.

Dear Peter, a short reminder that invoice 2025-031 for December is now 47 days out, which is past your usual thirty. If it has slipped through, this is the nudge. If there is a question about it, I would rather hear it.

Proposal, one change and a date

The board liked the proposal. They want phase two reduced to six weeks and a fixed fee rather than day rate. If you can send a revised version by Thursday, they decide Friday.

And then the rest of the day.

Five more things Pidgy does between an email landing and the engagement closing.

  1. Replies

Three ways to answer it. Or your own words.

Every thread that needs a reply gets three, and they are the three things you would most plausibly say back given what the prospect or client asked.

Dear An, yes, revised version by Thursday. Six weeks for phase two is workable if we drop the second site visit; I will show that explicitly so the board sees what changed, not just the number.

  2. Projects

And it adds up to a picture.

Every engagement and every proposal becomes a project: what is agreed, what is delivered, what is invoiced, what is paid, and what the prospect is waiting on.

  3. Contacts

You already know who never answers. Now you can prove it.

Everyone you correspond with becomes a contact, with how long they usually take, how often they opened the conversation, and what is outstanding. The client who pays at forty-seven days shows as a number before you quote them again.

Before you let anything near a client mailbox.

You click send

Pidgy drafts. It has no permission to send on your behalf, and there is no setting that grants one.

Hosted in the EU

Data residency in the EU, scoped per mailbox, DPA on request. Export or purge whenever you want.

It never deletes

Nothing is archived, moved, marked read or thrown away. Your mailbox is exactly where you left it.

Never trains on you

Correspondence builds your lists and your drafts. It is never used to train a model, ours or anyone else's.

Questions consultants ask

What does it cost?+

Per mailbox, monthly, published when we open to everyone. The first group is free. Asking for a place costs nothing and connects nothing.

I am one person. Is this built for me?+

Yes. One mailbox, one list of what is waiting on you and what you are waiting on, and drafts in your voice. The part that helps most is the part nobody does for an independent: counting the days on proposals and invoices.

Does it chase invoices by itself?+

No. It drafts the reminder and counts the days. You read and send. With a client relationship, that is the point.

What can it see, exactly?+

The mailbox you connect, and only that. Your invoicing tool, your documents and your phone are invisible to it. Client material in your mailbox is processed to build your lists and drafts and for nothing else.

Is client material used to train a model?+

No. Processing happens in the EU, scoped to the mailbox you connect, under a data processing agreement.

Does it work in Dutch, French and English?+

Yes. It reads mixed language mailboxes and drafts in the language of the thread.

A first group, chosen by hand.

Pidgy opens to a small number of people before anyone else, and we pick them ourselves. If consulting is your trade, tell us and we will be in touch.
