Is Pidgy a Todoist alternative?

It depends where your tasks live. If most of what you need to do arrives by email, Pidgy replaces a lot of manual capture in Todoist, because the to-dos write themselves from your Outlook and Gmail. If you want one cross-platform manager for every task in your life, including the ones that never touch your inbox, Todoist is still excellent. Plenty of people use both.

Does Todoist pull tasks from my email automatically?

Not on its own. Todoist captures email tasks when you forward a message to a project address, use its Gmail or Outlook add-on to turn a specific email into a task, or type the task yourself. Its newer Email Assist can extract details from an email you hand it. Pidgy is different in that it reads your inbox continuously and creates the tasks for you, including commitments you made in your own replies.
