When a client asks you to send a pricing sheet by Friday, Pidgy adds it to your task list with the deadline and a link to the thread. Tasks can be handed to a teammate straight from the email.
Drafts replies in your voice
Pidgy learns from your sent folder and writes drafts in the tone you pick: professional, friendly or direct. You edit a line if needed and press send yourself.
Follows up on stalled threads
Pidgy keeps a list of everyone who owes you something and how long you have been waiting. When a thread goes quiet, the follow-up is drafted and ready in one click.
Answers questions about your inbox
Ask "Is the Acme contract signed?" and Pidgy finds the confirmation email and links the document. You get the answer without searching three folders for it.
Plans your week
Tasks from your inbox drop into calendar blocks with an estimated duration and a reminder. Your week gets planned around the work your email actually asked for.

Your email stays in the EU.
SaneBox and Superhuman are US companies. Pidgy is built and hosted in the EU by Alkmist BV, which is ISO 27001 certified, and your messages are never used to train any model or sold to anyone.

The team behind Pidgy.
Mathias and Toto met in 2019 on Expedition DO!, the Ghent University start-up programme, and won it together with their first company, Ad Astra Industries. Ad Astra built automations for repetitive computer work, and they grew it without outside funding to a team of 13 before a multinational acquired it in 2024.
Working inside that multinational showed them a cost nobody was measuring. Knowledge workers were spending days waiting on other companies, chasing documents and repeating themselves across mailboxes. They started Alkmist in 2024 to fix that between firms and their clients, and built Pidgy in 2026 to fix it inside the individual inbox.
Our mission is to remove the coordination work that sits between people, so professionals spend their week on the work itself.

Dr. Mathias Celis
Co-founderMathias is a psychologist with a PhD in psychology and business economics from Ghent University, where he studies why smart people make predictable decision errors. Before entrepreneurship he was vice-world champion in acrobatic gymnastics with the Belgian national team, and he regularly explains human behaviour in Belgian media.
Toto De Brant
Co-founderToto taught himself to code at 14 and trained as a computer science engineer at Ghent University. He is the technical half of the founding pair and leads the engineering behind Pidgy and the Alkmist Portal.
The rest of the flock
Pidgy is built by the Alkmist team in Ghent: software and AI engineers, a behavioral scientist, and people in product and marketing. It is a small team, so the people building the product are the same people reading your feedback.
The team uses Pidgy every day. When Alkmist hired its latest AI engineer, Aadish Joshi, the whole hiring round ran through Pidgy, from sorting CVs out of a crowded inbox to following up with candidates.
