Two of these have no owner in the original email. That is the normal state of a client email, and it is the reason things go missing: nobody declines a task that was never assigned.

The rules it follows

The buried ones are the expensive ones

Some asks are written as requests. Most are not.

What it catches

  • Direct requests, with or without a date attached
  • Asks phrased as questions
  • Things someone else promised to do for you
  • Deadlines mentioned anywhere in the thread
  • Tasks nobody was assigned, flagged as unowned

What it will not do

  • Invent a deadline that was never written
  • Guess a surname from a first name
  • Decide priority for you
  • Send anything or add anything to a calendar
  • Read an attachment. Paste the text if it matters

Is it really free?
Yes. Ten runs a day across all the Pidgy free tools, with no account and no card. You only see the counter once three runs remain.
How long a thread can I paste?
A few thousand characters, which is a long thread. If it is longer, paste the most recent messages, since that is where the live asks usually are.
Does it find tasks nobody was assigned?
Yes, and it marks them as unowned rather than quietly giving them to you. An unowned task in a client email is the single most common way work disappears.
Can I export it?
Three ways. A plain list, a checklist with owners and dates, or a CSV that opens in Excel or Google Sheets.
Will it read attachments?
No. It reads the text you paste. If the request list is inside a PDF, paste the relevant text out of it.
Do you store what I paste?
No. The text is processed to produce the result and not kept. The tool sets no cookies and needs no consent banner. One random id sits in your browser's local storage to count the free runs, and it identifies nobody.
How is this different from Pidgy?
